The electric hot water bag — a sealed gel pouch you charge from the wall — is Pakistan's best-selling winter warmer on Daraz. It is cheap and convenient, but it must be used correctly.

Do

  • Charge it on a flat, dry surface (a table or floor, not the bed).
  • Charge only for the time on the label — usually 5–15 minutes — until the light goes off.
  • Unplug before use, every time.
  • Wrap it in its cover or a cloth.
  • Check it before each use for swelling, leaks or damage.

Don't

  • Never use, hold or sleep with it while it is charging.
  • Never leave it charging unattended or overnight.
  • Do not sit, lie or kneel on it, or pierce it.
  • Do not let small children use it alone.

Stop using it if

  • It swells, bulges or leaks.
  • It smells of burning, or the cord or plug gets hot.
  • It does not switch off by itself after charging.
